Online Obsession Walkthrough
Online Obsession is a free browser yandere psychological horror visual novel. An online friend, a real-life meeting, and a long chat thread that stays one-sided in a way you do not notice until much later. The build streams into the frame on this page - no download, no install, no itch.io.
What the captures establish is the shape of the thing: this is a visual novel wrapped inside an online game and a chat client. Two of the four frames are not even narrative dialogue - they are a lobby screen and a desktop. That framing is the point, and it is worth recognising before you press play.
The lobby, before anything happens
The first frame is a game lobby. Two small avatars stand side by side on a warm-toned background: a pink-haired character with cat ears and leaf clips, and a white-haired character with a halo and wings. To the right, an INFO panel reads xX_berrysfan_Xx with LVL 37 and RANK 948.
Below it sits a CURRENT LOBBY panel with player slots, and a MATCH panel reading 1/2 players ready - waiting for the second player. A banner advertises a new character in the upcoming fifth season, and a small speech bubble over the avatars reads hihihi. The opening of this story is a queue.
Adisorn, and the two portraits at once
The second frame is a dialogue scene and the first time the page's central claim becomes visible. The name tag reads Adisorn. Two pixel-art character sprites sit in the bottom corners of the frame - one left, one right - while the illustrated background shows a snow-lit exterior stairwell in cold blue and magenta.
The line delivered is a question with no good answer attached: does this mean I am unforgettable, or is my appearance just such an eyesore? Note the framing convention. This build stages the characters as avatars on a screen, not as people in a room, and that distance is doing deliberate work.
Stickers, and a chat that argues back
The third frame is the most useful one in the set. A sticker picker is open over a pink bedroom, offering four images of the white-haired character captioned LOVE~, WAAH.., H-HUH and A-AH.. - the whole emotional range reduced to four selectable reactions.
Beside it a phone-shaped chat window is open on the contact Adi. The visible exchange runs: Your Honour, I think this counts as perjury., then 'overruled', then thats Cheating, then a LOVE sticker. A Send a message... field sits at the bottom. The argument is being had in sticker form, and it is being had badly.
- Only four sticker reactions are available - LOVE, WAAH, H-HUH, A-AH
- The chat window has a live
Send a message...field - The screen name in chat (Adi) is not the name tag in dialogue (Adisorn)
The desktop, and what is on it
The fourth frame drops the dialogue entirely and shows a pink desktop with icons: StarBlitz, recycle bin, Berrycloud, BrowsBuddy, pfps.png, me_lol.png and report. A recycle bin window is open and reads empty. The taskbar clock shows 20/12 12:55PM.
Two of those icons are profile pictures, and the window beneath the bin is one of them opened full size: the pink cat-eared character pressed against the white-haired one, hearts around them. A game with a report button, a personal photo folder, and an empty bin is telling you something about what happened here before the conversation starts.
Tips before you start
- Watch the names. The chat contact Adi and the dialogue name Adisorn are not the same label, and the game keeps both in frame.
- The sticker set is four options wide. Your available reactions are the game measuring how you are responding.
- Read the desktop, not just the dialogue. Icon names and the empty bin carry context the conversation never states.
- Expect in-game screens as well as prose - lobby, chat window and desktop all appear inside the same visual novel.
- Desktop with a mouse is the comfortable view; the page copy notes the panels are laid out for a wider screen. Use fullscreen on a phone.
- This is a yandere psychological horror game for adults 18+. Take breaks between runs rather than forcing every route in one sitting.
