Fear Me Walkthrough
Fear Me is a free browser creepypasta slasher visual novel - a Jeff the Killer fan game with 34,000+ words, 40 CGs and 9 dark endings. It runs inside the frame on this page: no download, no install, no itch.io account.
The four frames below are not story scenes. They are the build's own front matter, captured from the playable build, and they are the most useful thing this guide can hand you: the content warnings, the two assist options, and the fact that the game ships in both English and Spanish. Read them before you press play - one of them tells you how to see the score, and one of them can only be set before you start.
The warning screen you meet first
The build opens on a black screen with a hand-lettered Warning flanked by two yellow triangle icons. The text lists the content plainly: violence, gore, murder, stalking, abuse, manipulation, and major character death - followed by the line that it is intended for MATURE audiences only, 18+.
That is not boilerplate here. The portal page for this game describes the violence as mostly off-screen, with the dread carried by the chat thread and by what the stranger already knows. Knowing that in advance is fair warning that the dread is psychological rather than surgical.
TIPS! - the assist menu the build ships with
The second screen is the one most players scroll past. A glowing TIPS! heading sits over two red underlined entries. Easy Mode is described as letting you know when you win (Jeff's) affection, and when your decisions don't kill you. Cheat is described as a button that reveals the points you are earning - and the card states it can only be activated when you start the game.
Read that last clause carefully. A cheat button that only works at startup is not a mid-run rescue. If you want to see a score, you pick it before the first message, not after the third night. Sample bubbles on the right show the kind of feedback Easy Mode surfaces: ♡+1, You Live!, ♡ No.
The same warning, in Spanish
The build is localised. This frame is the Advertencia card - identical layout, hazard triangles and hand-lettered type, now listing violencia, asesinato, acoso, abuso, manipulación and muerte de personaje principal, and closing with Está dirigido sólo a audiencias MADURAS (18+).
Worth knowing because it tells you the front matter is genuinely localised rather than a single English card with a translated title. The choice screens and menu follow the language you are reading.
Easy Mode and the cheat, in Spanish
The fourth frame is the Spanish TIPS! card: Easy Mode lets you see when you raise Jeff's affection and when a decision does not kill you; Haz trampa gives you a button showing the points you are scoring, activable only at the start of the game. Same rules, same two options, translated.
So the build offers three real player-facing assists and one hard rule: decide before you begin. If you plan to play blind the first time, keep Easy Mode off and only use it on a replay, when you would rather read the story than survive it.
Tips before you start
- Easy Mode and the cheat button are chosen before the game starts - the tips card says the score button can only be activated at launch.
- Set both assists on a replay rather than a first run, if you want to see the endings without losing a night to them.
- The build ships in English and Spanish front matter, and the 18+ content list is on screen before you play.
- Give the game a clean tab and turn the volume down a notch; the page copy warns that easy-to-miss detail is where the dread lives.
- Fullscreen from the page controls gives you the chat interface at full width, which matters more on a phone than on a desktop.
- Runs are short. Budget 20-30 minutes and leave room for a second attempt rather than forcing one long sitting.
